Diary Dates for March @ Cantonteign Falls

Canonteign Kitchen Pops – Up at Swanaford VineYard – Teign Valley mussels are on the menu

On Saturday 7th March, Canonteign Falls and Swanaford Vineyard will join forces on a superb pop-up dining experience celebrating great local food and wine. The collaboration is the first in a calendar of pop-up foodie feasts taking places in the vineyard throughout 2020 and marks the reopening of Canonteign Falls on Wednesday 11th March, when new chefs Matt and Marc will be relaunching the Canonteign Kitchen with a fresh new menu.

Two ambitious and talented new chefs, Matt and Marc will be showcasing their passion for creating great dishes from the larder of fantastic produce found locally at this special pre-opening pop-up. The menu celebrates local ingredients, cooked simply and superbly and includes River Teign mussels, local charcuterie and Black Tor Brewery IPA roast chicken.

Accompanying the kitchen’s gorgeous plates of food will be Swanaford’s award-winning wines. A welcome glass of their Classic Cuvee Brut 2016 is included in the ticket price, with a full bar on hand thereafter. Swanaford has 10 acres under vine in the Teign Valley where owners Ben and Caroline Goulden do almost everything by hand to create high quality English sparkling and still wines. Tickets are £30 per person and are available to purchase directly from ben@swanaford vineyard jon@canonteign.com or on Eventbrite
