Sleeping Beauty @ The Palace Theatre, Paignton

“Before midnight on her 16th birthday, the Princess shall prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and she will die”. This chilling curse from the wicked witch at Princess Rose’s christening is the prelude to a series of events and scenes filled with tension, laughter, song, dance and everything a pantomime should be. Can she be saved from this fate and if so who will save her?

Winners of the “Best Pantomime” in the NODA South West awards in 2014, 2017 and 2018 this Christmas Paignton Pantomime Productions brings “Sleeping Beauty”, another fabulous value for money pantomime, to the Palace Theatre, Paignton. PPP has been bringing top quality pantomime to South Devon audiences since 1935 and built an enviable reputation for fast moving, colourful and thoroughly entertaining pantomimes. As regulars will know there will be numerous colourful costumes, a five piece professional band, a hilarious professional script, award nominated choreography together with a mixture of songs both old and new, all brought to you by the very best of local talent. There will also be lots of audience participation and who knows perhaps a little water.

This year we will be collecting for “The Friends of the Palace Theatre” a group dedicated to helping the theatre operators, Jazz Hands, enhance your theatrical experience when visiting the Palace.

The last five PPP Christmas pantomimes have been enjoyed by over 22,300 people at the Palace Theatre, Paignton and tickets are already selling well for this year’s Sleeping Beauty.
