Splashdown @ Quaywest

Have a blast this summer at Splashdown Quaywest

The UK’s largest all outdoor waterpark is packed full of flumin’ fun.  Tumbling tyre rides, slippery slides and twisting tubes await.  Join in the fun, hopefully in the sun, but fear not the water is heated to near tropical temperatures and wetsuit hire is free, if the weather is bit on the changeable side.

Climb to the top of the towers to sample some of the best views on the English Riviera, then plummet down almost 20 metres of the Devil’s Drop, if you dare or take a trip on the wild side, or should it be wild slide with the Wild Kamikaze.  Plenty more to keep the whole family amused.  Smaller children can splash in Tiddler’s Splash Pool or try out the starter slide Submarine Splash. There’s also a swimming pool or why not catch a few rays on the sunbeds for a bit of a breather after all that fluming.

When all that splashing around has worn you out there’s plenty of ideas for a pit stop; ice-cream, burgers, milkshakes and much more. Check out the website for money saving meal deal offers.

Best of all Splashdown Quaywest is located on one of the best places by the sea in the English Riviera for one of those great seaside family days; sandy beach, rock pools at low tide, on-water activities, Gold Coast amusements, beach and snack shop for everything you could possibly need for a day out to remember for ever.  Look out for tickets that allow you to spend time in the waterpark, on the beach and back again as many times as you wish on the same day if you want the best of both worlds.

Splashdown Quaywest is open weekends and Bank Holidays in May and everyday from 29th May to 2nd September 2018.  Large Pay and Display Car Park (Torbay Council) next door. Regular Stagecoach bus service nearby and even a steam train calls at Goodrington – see Dartmouth Steam Railway for timetable.

See www.splashdownwaterparks.co.uk for all the visitor info, opening schedule and online ticket booking facility to help you beat the rush.
