The Carpenters Experience present a fantastic tribute show to Richard & Karen Carpenter, capturing all the mannerisms and vocal similarities in this unique production, which will be on stage at the Babbacombe Theatre in Torquay on Friday 12th August at 7.30pm
The show is fronted by the amazing vocal talent of Maggie Nestor who is not only a lifelong fan of the band but has had a 20-year career in the music business.
Along with Maggie the show comes with a world class backing band featuring 8 musicians. They have all toured the U.K extensively, as well as having performed in Europe and Asia with many named acts and too much critical acclaim.
You can expect to hear all the classic songs including Top of the World, We’ve Only Just Begun, Rainy Days and Mondays, Please Mr Postman, Goodbye to Love, Solitaire, Superstar and many more, so if you have a favourite Carpenters song, you can expect to hear it performed at the popular Torquay venue.
