A Wilderfox weekend is a chance to give yourself that time and invest in yourself as a whole being. Set in the magical heart of glorious Devon our courses are designed to help you relax and connect. Come and immerse yourself in a fusion of wild and well-being.

Accommodation is camping style! You can bring your  own tent or borrow one of ours. We offer a vegetarian menu but can also  cater for those on a vegan / gluten free diet. All instructors are  fully qualified, insured, highly experienced and enthusiastic!

  • 6.00pm – Welcome tea before some gentle stretching and a chance to unwind
  • 7.00pm – Set up tents
  • 7.30pm – Safe cutting demonstration with various techniques
  • 8,00pm – Picking and preparing food for supper
  • 8.30pm – Eat around the fireside, relax and enjoy


  • 7.00am – Stretching and relaxation techniques
  • 8.00am – Bread making and breakfast
  • 9.00am – Exploring natural cordage
  • 10.00am – Water and where to find it
  • 11.00am – Yoga and relaxation / whistle making (Option)
  • 12.00pm – Lunch. Preparation, discussion, cooking and eating!
  • 2.00pm – Natural Navigation. How to find your way using nature to guide you
  • 3.00pm – Fire lighting! Watch and learn various methods of making fire used over thousands of years and have a go at friction fire lighting!
  • 5.00pm – Archery. Learn all about this ancient art and see if you can shoot your way to the Wilderfox Leader-board!
  • 7.00pm – Supper and fireside tales
  • 8.00pm – Meditation and Relaxation


  • 7.00am – Stretching and relaxation techniques
  • 8.00am – Breakfast
  • 9.00am – Bee wise. A closer look at bees and honey
  • 9.30am – Balance workshop. Learn how to balance your mind and body through relaxation and learned skills
  • 10.30am – A Walk of Wonder. Identifying and discussing the uses of a multitude of trees and plants.
  • 12.00pm – The farewell ceremony with prizes!
